With the aid of the bleached shade samples, dentist and patient are able to discuss the desired result and later precisely monitor the results of the patient's tooth whitening. The bleached shades offer equidistant colour values, resulting in shade differences which are clearly predictable and distinguishable to the human eye. With the bleached shades it is also possible to adjust the shade of prosthetic restorations to match the shades of bleached teeth. VITA Bleached Shades also enable the use of the VITA classical system.
This is a decisive advantage, since the VITA classical A1 – D4 shade guide is the recognised original in the field of tooth shade determination: it has been the gold standard in shade taking for over 50 years, and has become established worldwide as a benchmark shade system for all of dentistry. With the additional VITA Bleached Shades, the tooth colours of bleached teeth are also displayed in the VITA classical shade guide. The VITA Bleached Shades consist of the bleached shades 0M1, 0M2 and 0M3. These are taken from the VITA SYSTEM 3D-MASTER, and are also available as an add-on to the VITA classical A1 – D4 shade guide.
The new VITA Bleached shades come with a holder that clips onto the VITA classical shade guide, offering a linear extension to the existing shade tabs.Dentists preferring to remain with the VITA 3D-Master shade system, which offers more precise and reproducible shade measurement, will continue tobenefit from the VITA Bleachedguide 3D-Master, which is designedspecifically for tracking a bleaching regimen.
