Our goal is to make VITA’s “perfect match” a reality for dental restorations in the laboratory and clinic – from precise tooth shade determination and esthetics to functional restorations and reliable bonding.

VITA YZ SOLUTIONS: zirconia for any situation

Dental laboratories need to be able to work efficiently and economically, as well as to respond to the needs and preferences of their patients at all times. The four different translucency levels of the VITA YZ SOLUTIONS zirconia can now cover all of the fixed indication ranges based on the individual situation – from single crowns to long-span bridges – all with one single material system. Each translucency level is available as an uncolored variant (white) and can be individually infiltrated before sintering using VITA YZ SHADE LIQUIDS for the super, extra-high translucent variants, or the VITA YZ T COLORING LIQUIDS for the translucent variants.

The freedom of choice: the perfect shade and individual creation

The pre-colored shades provide a perfectly matched base shade, according to the VITA classical A1 – D4 shade standard. One thing is important for the creators of the dental shade standard: the shade has to be right. Every single time! The extra-super translucent material variants are also available in multichromatic with integrated shade gradient, opening up a new, highly esthetic spectrum for dental technicians, especially in the anterior region. For customized and highly characteristic reproductions, the multi-faceted VITA VM 9 veneering system and the shade variety offered by the VITA AKZENT Plus stain system are available for both partial and full veneering. The comprehensive range of VITA YZ SOLUTIONS offers you the choice between customized high esthetics and accurate basic shade treatments. One material concept for all esthetic situations!

VITA ENAMIC multiColor EMC-16 with a long, chromatic neck

At the last IDS, the multi-chromatic hybrid ceramic VITA ENAMIC multiColor EMC-14 with integrated shade and translucency profile was showcased in six finely nuanced layers from neck to incisal edge. Based on user feedback, an extended variant has now been developed with a 6 mm extended chromatic neck area: EMC-16 (16 x 18 x 18 mm). In the case of long teeth, elongated neighboring teeth or atrophied bone, the practitioner has even more individual freedom to customize the reconstruction when positioning the crown in the virtual block, thanks to a thicker basal layer in the more chromatic neck area Color saturation and translucency can be reproduced in an even more patient-oriented manner on the PC within the 18 millimeter total height available. Of course, none of this changes the benefits that the biomimetic, dual VITA ENAMIC network has to offer. This hybrid ceramic variant is the material of choice, especially for long anterior and abutment crowns. 

VITA VM LC flow: layering composite like ceramic

The viscous and light-curing VITA VM LC flow is the complete system of the future for composite veneering from dentin core to incisal edge. The comprehensive VM LC BASE DENTINE-shade spectrum in VITA classical A1 – D4 and in the VITA SYSTEM 3D-MASTER shade standard will also be available as a low-viscosity version, starting with IDS 2019. This not only means that all framework materials can be veneered using shades and effects comparable to the ceramic VITA VM concept, but the handling is also designed from the dentin core, as dental technicians are used to with ceramic layering. Thanks to their consistency, the materials can either be applied directly from the syringe or layered from a mixing plate using a brush. The thixotropic property provides stability, reducing the number of intermediate hardening steps. Combining the moldable paste with the viscous VITA VM LC flow variants is also possible, depending on the required handling. The vestibular anatomy can be individually reproduced on every removable denture with the five gingival shades available. For implant and combination work of any kind, the veneering composite system unites the framework, base and denture teeth with accurate, richly nuanced shade matching.

Perfectly masked abutments: the optimal adhesive system for any material

A truly high-masking composite is needed for extraoral attachments of implant-prosthetic restorations on adhesive/titanium bases, or intraoral attachments on individual titanium abutments to protect the esthetics of ceramic, hybrid ceramic and composite-based restorations from grayish tones. Reliable adhesion to two completely different materials also must be guaranteed. This is now possible both in the laboratory and in the clinic using the extraoral and intraoral, dual-hardening VITA ADIVA IA-CEM Ultra opaque. The fixation system is housed in a clearly structured metal box and contains primers for metal and ceramic, as well as hydrofluoric acid gel and accessories, in addition to the highly opaque composite cements. The secret: An intelligent mixer provides a fixation rate that is approximately 30 % higher on average than standard automix systems. The outstanding adhesive properties can be significantly increased by sterilizing the abutment crowns fixed in the lab. VITA ADIVA IA-CEM Ultra opaque masks titanium completely and creates a strong adhesive bonding between the metal surface and the restoration.

VITA AKZENT Plus FLUOGLAZE LT: spray-on fluorescence

Nowadays, an increasing number of restorations are being produced with monolithic or only partially veneered CAD/CAM-supported zirconia. However, zirconia does not generally have fluorescence, which plays a role in the natural dynamics of color and light. The VITA AKZENT Plus FLUOGLAZE LT spray now makes it possible to achieve natural fluorescence and glaze with only one touch of the nozzle. The fine spray application achieves uniform layer thickness and homogeneous fluorescence across the entire surface. In just one firing, VITA AKZENT FLUOGLAZE LT helps to accelerate the digital workflow and supports the natural appearance of fully anatomical crown and bridge parts made of zirconia.

VITA ZYRCOMAT 6100 MS: Feel-good technology for zirconia

Creating a production technology that is perfectly matched to dental materials is the alpha and omega of ideal restoration solutions. Hardware, software and materials have to harmonize with each other. That is why VITA offers materials and furnace technology from a single source. The VITA ZYRCOMAT 6100 MS sintering furnace is perfectly aligned with the properties of zirconia. The new lift design and further improved mechanics ensure that milled restorations made with VITA YZ SOLUTIONS will be successfully transferred into the combustion chamber in the future. The choice is yours: VITA HighSpeed, conventional or user-defined. This high-temperature sintering furnace offers state-of-the-art technology for any zirconia and guarantees optimal sintering results.
